Nestled in the busy neighborhood of in Israel this fabulous private residence brings together traditional Middle Eastern form with modern design elements in an effortless manner.
On the inside one sees a stylish modern home that embraces a semi-minimal style with ease. White walls and wooden surfaces dominate the space in a style that is typically Japanese. An open living area is housed on the lower level while the top floor contains the bedroom and the bathroom. Large glass walls ensure that the wooden deck outside becomes an integral part of the living area. This fabulous house turns out to be the showstopper in a picturesque village surrounded by mountains!
The ground floor is spread across different levels with the kitchen dining area and family room opening up toward the pool outside. A grotto waterfall a green landscape and a relaxing hot tub complete this level with the private quarters being housed on the top floors.
The newly built structure replaced an existing ranch-style house that was originally built in 1948. Parts of the previous home such as a single-story bedroom were kept intact and renovated to blend in with the new facade. An open entry leads to a beautiful walkway that is built above the refreshing pool and connects with the main living area.
But they were so mesmerized by the angular exterior traditional silhouette and the gorgeous landscape around it the project soon turned into an extensive renovation. The task fell to architect and interior designer of Levy Hamitzer architects who did deliver in style!
A wall-mounted TV floating shelves a sleek workstation and minimal decor ensure that the entire space feels airy and inviting. A stunning kitchen next to the living area steals the show with its clean lines exclusive shelves and a state-of-the-art overhead kitchen countertop that serves as the heart of the home!
You can see different shades of wood used across the open living space and even the staircase leading to the bedroom above adds to the overall visual. A plush couch in the living area defines the space while a beautiful modern kitchen in the backdrop complements the look with its white cabinets countertop and kitchen island.
