Giving a beautiful classic French home a modern makeover while still preserving its overall appeal is surely no easy task. Located in the historic town of France renowned for its majestic this traditional home is spread across 2370 square feet and elegantly combines a timeless silhouette with a sleek modern interior. Architects from AZC had to work around the constraint of leaving the existing street façade untouched while expanding the living area into the backyard and opening up the house to create a bright and cheerful ambiance.
But they were so mesmerized by the angular exterior traditional silhouette and the gorgeous landscape around it the project soon turned into an extensive renovation. The task fell to architect and interior designer of Levy Hamitzer architects who did deliver in style!
The bedrooms and the bath follow a similar design style with grey and white being used extensively. Smart LED lighting further adds a sense of freshness and sophisticated ambiance to the entire living area. A thriving green living wall ushers in a touch of natural goodness while the frosted glass doors and lovely sheer drapes give the homeowners the necessary privacy.
The amazing tells you that the world of architecture holds within it an array of endless possibilities and that simple squares and rectangles are not the only options for your house. Daring and unconventional in every sense of the word this bold house was designed by Daniel Libeskind and it showcases how a sense of imagination can instantly transform the mundane into something exciting! The angular and geometric exterior of the home stands out thanks to the wide open areas and the natural setting outside.
We often hear about the elements shaping the landscape over several thousands of years. But this spectacular modern home located at an elevation of 7000 feet above sea level and in the snow-clad peaks of Boulder Colorado has also been shaped by earth wind and fire!
With large sliding doors blurring the line between the interior and the beautiful backyard the homeowners could well be tempted to spend more time outside! On the inside an open floor plan houses a spacious living room a lovely dining area with a minimal white table and a posh kitchen in grey.
Crafted by MU Architecture to take complete advantage of the beautiful surrounding landscape the home features large sliding glass doors and windows that offer some much needed visual and textural contrast. The ground floor embraces this overdose of wood with an entry that is completely covered with wooden panels.
